WhenWasIt? — Fast-paced date-guessing party game
Race your friends to pin historic (and modern) events to the exact date. Slide through time, lock in your guess, and see who was closest. Quick rounds, big “aha!” moments, and plenty of “no way that was 2008!” energy.
Gameplay
- Create or join a lobby and pick the number of rounds.
- Choose a mode: Modern (1950–Today) or Historical (500 BC–1950).
- Guess the date of each event using the year slider + month/day.
- One hint per round: find out if the real date is before or after your current selection.
- Reveal & react: watch the timeline animation, then see the rankings and running totals.
- Most points after the final round wins.
Scoring (simple & spicy)
- +1 for being the closest to the correct date (ties share it).
- +1 if your year is exactly right.
- +2 if your month is exactly right.
- +4 if your day is exactly right.
(All stack. Example: closest + correct month = +3 this round.)
